Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at CJC Photographic. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute the Shipping Policy. Please consider the environment when disposing of the packaging.

Shipment Processing Time

 

All made to order prints are usually dispatched within two weeks, subject to cleared payment. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or bank/public holidays. All other items will be dispatched within one to three working days.

 

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

 

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Orders received by 1pm will be sent to print the same day subject to cleared payment. If you require your order to be delivered at a certain time or day, please let us know.

Deliveries made by Royal Mail (up to 1kg) will typically arrive next day, but this is not a guaranteed next day service. Please allow five working delays before contacting us. While deliveries made by UPS Standard (1kg+) will arrive next day, this is subject to their location requirements for this service – for this information click here. UPS Access Point delivery is available for your convenience, which means UPS will drop off your package at a local access point for you to pick up later – for more information click here.

Delivery method(s) and description/time below:

  • Standard Delivery, UK and NI | for orders is FREE (Royal Mail 48)

 

Orders over £100 will be sent by a trusted courier.

Free delivery on all United Kingdom/NI orders over £50. All orders are usually delivered within 1 to 3 working days. Scroll down for international shipping details.

 

If you are out on the delivery day, the postie/courier will leave a infonotice or sorry we missed you card to

re-arrange delivery or where to pickup your item(s). 

 

All deliveries made by UPS will require a signature on delivery.

 

Delivery delays can occasionally occur, for both technical, demand and weather conditions/issues.

 

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

 

Orders cannot be delivered to P.O. boxes.

 

Shipment Confirmation and Order tracking

 

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

 

Customs, Duties and Taxes

 

CJC Photographic is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

 

Damages

 

CJC Photographic is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping and delivery. If you received your order damaged, please refuse delivery or take photographs of the package before (or after) being opened. Contact me within 48 hours. Out of good will, the order will be re-sent free of charge. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

 

Please note: If we feel you are abusing these rights your account will be suspended.

 

International Shipping Policy

 

All prices are shown in Pound Sterling. For conversion, use a Currency Converter.

 

Any import duties, taxes or brokerage fees due at time of delivery are the sole responsibility of the receiving customer. International orders may require additional handling/processing times. We use a variety of well known couriers and postal services. Parcels may be sent using companies, such as DHL, DPD, UPS, Fedex and full tracking will be provided.

All international orders are usually delivered within 1 to 10 working days, subject to customs/border clearance.

Return & Exchange Policy

If you are unhappy with your item(s), please let us know. The Returns Policy gives you 28 days to return or exchange an item bought online with a valid receipt. If the time has lapsed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. Customized items cannot be refunded unless faulty.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition, unless faulty. That means your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. The item must be in the original packaging (if possible) and returned with any accessories, labels and “free gifts” or bonus items.

To complete your refund or exchange, we require a receipt/proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. 

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that it is in  progress. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 calendar days. If you paid for standard delivery of the goods, the cost of standard delivery will also be refunded.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):

  • Plates or paper products with obvious signs of use;

  • Signs of misuse such as spillages or scratches, etc.

  • Any item not in its original condition, which is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to my error; and

  • Any item that is returned more than 28 days after delivery.

Late or missing refunds 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank.

 

There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

 

Sale Items and Giftcards/Vouchers

We do not offer refunds for sale items and purchased vouchers, unless they are faulty. We will still refund you via vouchers if original item was purchased with one. Product(s) will detail if it cannot be refunded.

Exchange

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange (purchased by error) an item, please get in contact within five days from delivery of the item.

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

 

Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Return Shipping

To return your product, please get in contact for address with your details and reason for returning. You are responsible for paying the shipping costs to return your item, unless the item is faulty. Return shipping costs are non-refundable. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over £25, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that item will be safely received.

Right to cancel

In addition to my Returns Policy, if you are a customer in the United Kingdom or European Union you have the right to cancel your contract and receive a full refund within 14 calendar days from the day after the date you received your order, if you are an online, mail or telephone order customer. If the goods are delivered in several instalments, then it will be 14 calendar days from receipt of the last instalment. To exercise your right to cancel the contract you must request a refund in writing within 14 calendar days of receipt of the items. The refund will include any standard delivery charges paid. You will be responsible for the cost of returning a cancelled order to us.

To exercise your right to cancel follow the steps below:

  • Please notify us by email or phone that you want to cancel your contract. Then download the cancellation form from the CJC Photographic website and include it with the item(s) when you return them. You can download the form in the following formats: Microsoft Word (.docx) or PDF.

We will refund to you the price paid for the items and (unless you did not pay for delivery) the delivery charges that you paid up to a maximum amount of the cost of my standard delivery option.

 

You will be refunded to your original method of payment within 14 calendar days of receipt of the cancelled items or, if earlier, within 14 days from the day we receive proof of return from you. If we do not receive the cancelled items back, we may arrange to collect them from you or void the refund.
