X, Y: Spring Flowers/Buds in Magical Light.
WORK IN PROGRESS...
This experimental series explores something that could be often overlooked or thought of the little details in life. ‘The Daffodils’ a poem by William Wordsworth is influential on this work as it places emphasis of the bliss and solitude of a field of daffodils, he encountered. They are described as “dancing”, “fluttering” as they “stretched out” along the shore giving them human like characteristics. Anthropomorphism? You - could - say in a calming manor - without sparking big debate.
Taken off the commodity of the shopfloor and distracting backdrops, these examples of spring buds and flowers look like they are dancing or waiting to burst to life... even for a short period of time (not phased been taken from their original environment).
