Well it has been a busy August, from going to events and seeing family and friends - it has been good to catch-up but as usual time goes so fast! In a joint project with my Dad, we made a camera to take pictures on 5x4 negatives/paper and possible plates in the future. The camera took three weeks to make from recycled and re-used materials, which included fogged black and white darkroom paper to take the photos which are over two years old. Once we were ready, we took some photographs which varied from 15-40 minutes exposure time.
The results we got were magical and unpredictable. I must say I love the faulty technicalities of each print which gives its own identity to the image (more coming soon):
