These chemigrams were created from previous college work as a final module/unit piece. They resemble people, both in the nude and clothed and I wanted to capture (with no camera) man-made images using natural found objects such as flowers. I took the idea from studio photographs from a photographer called Nick Knight and been influenced by Pierre Cordier/Man Rays use of natural forms. These were and still are some of the most simplest and best chemigrams that I have produced.
The chemigrams were created using flowers, butter and different concentrations of developer and fixer. Luckily, I managed to completely wash and fix the final photographs to allow the to retain the image.
