To keep our brains active over the summer holiday we were given a summer project to do, however I decided to split my output in two parts to show what I can do and challenge myself with.
This response was driven by my research into Pierre Cordier (Chemigrams) and Man Rays (Rayograms) and how colour can be added to improve the single tone imagery. I decided to use two methods of burning the image onto the paper, this included sunprints (a rayogram done in the sunlight) and allowing different concentrations of developer onto the paper to create a landscape effect. They were done in the same location style but each image is slightly different due to the movement of the sunlight, this has made each image unique.
Once the prints were complete, I colour replaced parts of the photograph to make the image richer and more beautiful.
